Iran’s supreme manager, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, questioned a fatwa on dames razzing bicycles Monday, but that hasn’t stopped a bunch of insolent females from doing it anyway.
The religion fiat forbids dames from cycling because it’s viewed as business practices that “exposes society to corruption” and “contravenes women’s chastity, ” according to The Independent .
However, a video evidencing a baby and daughter cycling freely down the road is just the most recent bit of social media demonstrating that many dames are not very interested in obeying the new rule.
Appearing on the Facebook page of a group announced My Stealthy Freedom, the video establishes the status of women explaining that when they heard about the fatwa, they “immediately rented two bicycles to answer we’re not giving up cycling.”
She lent, “It’s our absolute right and we’re not going to give up.”
The Facebook page, which promotes women’s claims, has been obtaining a bunch of images of similarly rebellious maidens, each with a different story to tell.
Since May 2016, mansions have appeared proscribing girls from cycling in certain areas and, according to The Independent , police officers had already been used to say maidens violating the bike-riding patterns would be prosecuted.
One such rule-breaker said on social media, “In order to be able to lead an ordinary life, I, as the status of women, have to engage in a daily ‘war.’ Am I a criminal because I love life and I adore cycling? “
The hashtag #IranianWomenLoveCycling has been created as a scaffold for women to share their storeys of cycling, and reasons why they won’t be stopping anytime soon.
… !!! … .. .. …! When I was a child,, my mothers did not buy me a bicycle. They did a girl does not go a bicycle. But I did not give up. I would jump on my youngest friends bicycle and razz it in small-time friends, even playing with other sons. I was the only one in my age group among and my classmates who learnt to travel a bicycle sides free. The first time I did travel a bike hands free, I crashed in to a tree and violated my snout. What I see in my nose today is the sweet recognition of those days. I tell this history for those who think can censor us from doing the athletics we predominantly enjoy with rumors and menaces. We will not give up readily! #___ #IranianWomenLoveCycling
