An Entire Irish Pub Pays Tribute To A Late Friend With The Greatest Send-Off Imaginable

For one group of mourners gathered at an Irish pub for a aftermath, the move of a dear friend wasn’t about shedding tears. Instead, it was all about honoring his remembering by rocking out in style!

To mark the move of Ger ‘Farmer’ Foley, the customers and staff of Falvey’s Bar in Killorglin, Ireland, decided to send off their sidekick in joyous mode by singing his favorite song, “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers. What started innocently enough with one follower, Brian O’Sullivan, clambering onto the bar counter to get the sing-along travelling, immediately became an all-out party.

I might not have known Farmer Foley, but evaluating by the people he left behind, he clearly was a joy to be around.
